Today Wally is hanging out on Mamutik Island (off of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in Borneo). The islands off the coast are filled with reefs that are excellent for diving. It’s rainy season right now and the visibility can be bad – but Wally doesn’t mind because it’s a sunny day on land. The large komodo dragon that just came out of the forest on the other hand, has Wally a little concerned – so back in the bag he’ll go.

Hi Robin and Tim, Wally and the Komodo dragon is the first blog I’ve read, I will catch up now with the rest. Can you please bag the dragon in a different bag than Wally’s and bring it back here for my son Tom and Gubby? I wouldn’t ask you to put him in Wally’s bag’ that would be just plain mean!
What a wonderful adventure you are on, I’m sure many people are a little jealous, huh? You are in my prayers, Love Auntie Pat

Haha thanks. I don’t think that thing was willing to be anyone’s pet. Getting close enough to take that photo was the closest I would be willing to get to that thing 🙂
